Manuscript «Huysum 1724 Plus» sketchbook from the «Tenderness» series First series of sketchbooks with an open binding. The cover features a still life «Flowers in a Vase with Crown Imperial and Apple Blossom at the Top and a Statue of Flora» by Dutch artist Jan van Huysum. To be the best botanical illustrator and artist, this was the goal of Jan van Huysum. By repeatedly visiting the city of Haarlem, which was once the largest botanical center in Holland, Jan studied the structure and principles laid down by nature in plants and flowers. He did this with only one goal – to paint still lifes that had never existed in reality. The emphasized image of the «impossible bouquet». Jan painted his paintings for years, but the flowers, which were extremely perishable, did not allow him to work for so long. That is why van Huysum, like modern 3D artists and animators, studied the structure in detail and visualized the future works in his head. In addition, Jan developed technologies for producing paints that gave the author a very recognizable and unique handwriting. Van Huysum did not want to distribute his inventions, so he did not take students. Only his daughter Maria, who later also became an artist, deserved to learn his secrets. The cream-colored, unlined pages are perfect for liners, pencils and pens. The sketchbooks can be opened to 180 degrees and do not close on their own due to the open binding. High-quality stitching and gluing allow them to withstand even extreme loads, and the cover's protective coating will extend the shelf life of your sketchbook. The set includes a lined inner sheet with a grid and a line for writing, drawing charts, tables, precise models, etc. Manuscript sketchbooks are a perfect tool for artists, designers, programmers, managers, as well as a fashionable accessory that can inspire creative achievements.
