Natural charcoal pencil Pitt, natural charcoal, hard, from the German company Faber-Castell, black, hard, non-ferrous. Natural charcoal pencils are made from beech and willow branches. Pencils consist of a wooden casing and a graphite core made of pressed charcoal. The graphite does not contain oils or fats. They have a round body made of special types of wood, which makes them easy to sharpen. It is recommended to sharpen with a Faber-Castell sharpening knife (article 181398) or an electric sharpener. Creates a uniform black effect with a bluish tint. This charcoal transmits a very precise black shade, does not smudge on fabric or paper, and does not crumble, unlike ordinary charcoal. Pressed charcoal gives a thick, soft, rich line, which is not suitable for outlining on fabric, but the resulting paintings will be very rich in color. These pencils can be used in any way. This pencil is ideal for shading in drawings. It is best when the artist has a variety of charcoal pencils of different hardness, then it is much easier to achieve gradations of light and shadow. It is very good for monochrome images, can be used as a complement to colored pencils, and looks great in sepia and sanguine works. Natural charcoal pencils are available in 3 different hardness levels: soft - soft, medium - medium hardness, hard - hard. Country of manufacture: Germany.
