A series of unfortunate events could lead to the collapse of the mining industry in the city of Tornado. Who is behind it all? How? And why? Investigate the evidence and brainstorm with your fellow detectives to find the answers to all the questions. Will you be able to solve the mystery of the Cursed Mine? Sherlock. Far West game. Fast pocket detective «Sherlock» (also known as «Elementary») is a popular series of fast detective cooperative games for 1-8 players. In 2019, this game was nominated for the prestigious «Spiel des Jahres» (Game of the Year in Germany) award. In each box, players find a separate case. This is an interesting detective filler that can be investigated alone, with friends, or with family. Geekach guarantees that the game will appeal to both beginners and experienced players. In the «Sherlock» series, you compete to solve cases with the legendary detective from Baker Street. Can you do better than the brilliant Sherlock Holmes? Will you be stuck in the same place as Inspector Lestrade? The investigation begins with a short introduction that familiarizes you with the details of the case. Collect the necessary evidence and discard the unnecessary ones, discuss your theories, and use deduction to solve the mystery. Q System detective system All games in the series feature the «Q System» mechanic. After reading the introduction, players receive a certain number of cards in their hand (the number of cards depends on the number of players). Players cannot show their cards to each other, but they can read aloud the highlighted words or text in a spiral-bound notepad. Players take turns. On their turn, an active player performs one of two actions: Place evidence. The player chooses a card from their hand and places it face down on the table. The information on it is now available to everyone. Discard evidence. The player chooses a card from their hand and discards it. When all the evidence has been placed or discarded, and the deck is empty, the players discuss the available information and brainstorm about the possible version of events. However, if at the end of the game there are fewer than 6 cards in the discard pile, the players immediately lose. The game ends when the players have determined the final version and answered the questions. They earn 2 points for each correct answer. They lose 1 point for each piece of evidence that does not relate to the case. Calculate your score and find out if you have outsmarted the Scotland Yard or even Sherlock Holmes himself.
